Architecture Nights =) ★

Life's pretty fun in the balance of things, I've been hanging out with Kimberly quite alot recently and it's been really cool. Just last week I went Canoeing with my school.. It was awesome. Like, Because I'm 18 now I'm entitled to not participate in P.E. but some weeks are really interesting to do so, At least it's something. The story took place on a Monday.

As for Tuesday nights, I'm starting school at 12 the next morning so staying up really late whilst doing an architecture project gets the clocks going along with a bowl of porridge. Sort of stocking up on oats and multigrain coz I've no money for swimming.. As of lately.. I haven't my Finnish Identity Card. Tomorrow I'll be off to the Police Station to apply for one so I can take out my student loan and actually buy proper food, go swimming, get back to old tricks and just have a laugh while doing so in my favourite coffee shop, The Coffee House. =)

Back of 2am. Nothing good happens then usually.. Well.. Unless some cute British girl comes to the door but I'll keep dreaming on that one. As of keeping myself back on track I'm updating my new spotify playlist called: Architecting My Creative Mind. Just the right amount of music, Set with a tone suitable of the no rise nor fall key balance I like. Now drawing up my architecture drawing outlook of my house so I can build a wall to knock off part of my living room, It's going to have a study. A place with all my architecture rulers and protractors. Just keeping the dream alive while smiling.

A Starry Day =) ★

On any day you can look out your window and know what you're going to do, Although when the weather isn't at it's best you gotta do with what you've got and that's what we did. Today I shared my day with dear sweet Kimberly and the ever so lovely Alice. Our original plans were to go have a picnic at the park but sadly though it was raining so we stayed home and went out shopping for food supplies. As soon as we came back we set Alice down for a nap and we made lunch. :)

I made enchiladas, mostly because of my love for Mexican food. Kimberly made Tiramisu, which is still at this very moment in the fridge because it takes overnight to set right. Besides the matter of that, The enchiladas were amazing, I had never made them before so I'm ever so happy they tasted good. Smiley face :)

Roads To Travel =) ★

As in all adventures I'm about travel further than I've ever done before. As the runway lights up with all it's pretty lights, The plane speeds up for take off. On this adventure I'm jumping on the 7:50 flight to Rome Via. Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport. I'm feeling exploration-y although I haven't slept yet so a little tired once I set tracks from the house earlier on. Just about enough of confidence to set foot out off the Finnish soil and be somewhere new entirely.

So, For the past 6 months I've been involved in this Student Exchange Program and it's been a great journey already, but now that everything's all done and dusted it's time to actual fly over. :) My favourite part is travelling mostly, Although my phone keeps dying and I wanna throw it a wall because I need to listen to music while travelling or it's less fun. Just holding onto the remaining charged up 9% so far and gotta catch a flight in about 45mins.

As of this moment I'm sitting on the plane, 10972 meters above the ground.. To be honest I'm afraid of heights but I like planes for some reason. I wouldn't jump out of them, Atleast not today anyways. It just gives me a free mind of knowing this specific piece of transportation actually gets to other countries faster than rail and sea. :) Excitment truly is building up because in about 1h 15mins I'll be in Rome.

You can go anywhere in the world and explore to your inner heart's content. Fill it all the way up while crossing all seas and oceans.. Across the clouds and through the mists brings you to a place like no other. You can see anything really, You can do anything wherever you are. But, At the end of the day.. You'll truly know where your home is.. Once you find it. I haven't the slightest of ideas where I'll find home someday but I bet it will be full of joy and happiness for each and every adventure I overcome and make it a part of me. :)

Tooth & Claw =) ★

You see, As I go along the intro to Grand Designs. I hear the story of what the person's house wants to look like, Such as the outlines and the geographic 3D prelook of a house. Although, As the viewer that watches it being me I hear the budget of the site and costs and think.. That's quite hard to believe. Sometimes I like to skip to the end and see if they do it and THEN go back and watch the details and the built of it all. :)

I wouldn't call it cheating, Like when you watch a TV series and you're so behind on a bunch of seasons that you want to skip right to the end but I guess in some cases it's best not to. It's best to watch it the way that it is, rather than to always know the endings of things. Much like, knowing of your very own personal death. I will admit I've written about this before somewhat a year ago but it is rather interesting to write about.

The truth that lies infront of destiny, faith, the other thing I can't quite put my finger on. Just living an everyday life gets you much more than you could achieve in skipping 3 years ahead. You'll wake up with everything you wanted, but they key isn't just having something.. It's how you felt, learn't, trusted your instinct on and built a structure in your mind of how, where and what you've done. :)

The Design Of Buildings =) ★

As of lately I've been watching quite a bit of Grand Designs in the morning, A British TV Series about people building houses of their own with either an old building or just constructing something their selves with the help of an Architect. Mainly I watch it because I love the idea and key aspects of what you can learn and achieve by doing so. Just the other day I learned that concrete doesn't always have to be an everyday use for building houses. At least, without using any bricks.

Polystyrene blocks poured with concrete gives 4 times more strength than a regular concrete block and the polystyrene shells provides still heating insulation. You end up with a structure which is 1 and a half times as insulate as a conventionally built wall. This wall per say, is super insulated and it's super performing. It's sort of like super Lego, which I used when I was a kid too. I love the fact that it takes around 4 weeks to fully have the polystyrene Lego house assembled in place with just the roof to be put on. :)

Situations of the greater are statistically favoured. Things that are statistically favoured tend to happen, Especially over time. A disordered room has greater destruction than an organised one. Thus' an organised room will tend to become disordered over time. The only way to reverse this is to continually putting in energy from an outside system, Much like thinking outside of the box. So, with the help of a hammer and nail, being creative and building something entirely from scratch.. It must be something worth doing in life. :)

Always & Forever =) ♥

In all summers there's a story, A story I'll hold close to my heart throughout the years to come. When I look back now, That summer seemed to last forever and if I had the chance, I'd always make it feel like it once again, Because, In all honesty, Those were the best days of my life. Forgetting who we used to be I wouldn't bring you down, I think as much as I go by another day I see that living is just another step. Atleast we can enjoy it with our hearts beating out of proportion, Knowing you're doing good and I too.. Working like clockwork train along the shadowy path.. Looking for our next summer :)

If I was to go telling my friends all the great things about you I wouldn't know where to start because each day of summer was by far so memorable that when I look back at life, I can see that it's not just going to be a memory, But a part of my life I've lived and learned from.. In a good way. :) It's weird, Though. I feel like the only one who would understand this is you. In a way, that makes sense. She was the one of the very few people I was myself around. Of course she'd be that same person for me. Anyway, I left all that out and I kept it simple. I told them I loved you and that's the truth. :)

In everyones life there's a summer we'll never forget.
And a summer where it all started.
xx

Feeling The Rush =) ★

As of lately I just got accepted into Winnova's Institution of Professional House Constructive Technology, A school I've been wanting to go to for the past 2 years. It's been a bumpy road learning the Finnish language over the past few years and I'm certainly no professional at it either. But the way I see it, If you have to study even a little of something to get where you really want to be, then why not. At the moment I work as a Busboy in the Ice Cream House. Cleaning tables, Making all sorts of modern day coffee, Socialising with the customers although I'm not really suppose to at every waking minute I'm a work. The money is fairly good, but it's really about the experience. It'll look good on my reference forms because I'm hard working and have this obsessive tidy thing for cleaning and being organised so it does come in handy at times. :)

There are fifteen hundred bike messengers on the street of New York. But when it all comes down to posting something and you can't get it there on time, You've gotta do it yourself. This important letter being my school acceptance letter. Everything flashes before my eyes as it's my very own future I're putting on the line. I've chosen the place I got offered so now it's up to me to go deliver it myself. It was a bit worrying at times because I left it at the last minute so now I'll go out and take my bike. On a sunny day with fast traffic. Headphones on, Fixed gear, Steel frame.. Dodgy brakes :) It's fun to just take a shower, Get out the house.. And embrace the adventure beyond the outer doors. :)
